Education and/or Experience
Two years’ related experience or training
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and common fractions
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written,
oral and/or diagram form
Certificates, license, Registration:
Refrigeration and Electrical License preferred. Experience with ammonia is helpful.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, man-lift, saws, paint sprayers, refrigeration gauges, torches, evacuation machine, recovery machine, electric meters.

- Maintain a 440,000 sq. ft. warehouse, transportation, offices, truck shop and grounds
- Maintain 4,220 feet of conveyor
- Maintain air conditioning units
- Maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, buggies
- Maintain batteries that are watered weekly
- Maintain chargers
- Maintain roll up doors and ramps
- Maintain grocery buggies
- Maintain fire extinguishers, ladders, hoists, fire risers and emergency lights monthly
- Maintain cigarette stamping equipment - cutter, stampers and re-casers and wrapping machine
- Welding, cutting, fabrication, plumbing, carpenter work and paining
- Replace lights and electrical repair
