Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Axle Installer to join our trailer manufacturing team. The primary responsibility of this position is to install trailer axles using a hydraulic elevator/lift system.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position in a non-temperature-controlled facility, so candidates must be comfortable working in hot, cold, and changing environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install trailer axles using a hydraulic elevator/lift.
• Position and align axles correctly according to production specifications.
• Secure axles to the trailer using the proper tools and hardware.
• Verify axle placement and alignment before completing the installation.
• Follow established safety procedures and production instructions.
• Inspect your work to ensure the axle is properly installed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet daily production and quality expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience installing trailer axles is required.
• Experience working in trailer manufacturing or a similar manufacturing environment preferred.
• Comfortable operating and working with hydraulic lifting equipment.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow measurements and instructions.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled facility.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical work throughout the shift.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, reach, and work around trailers.
• Ability to lift and handle axle components safely.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy manufacturing conditions.

Important Requirement

This is an experienced position. Applicants must have previous axle installation experience. The primary duty of this position is installing axles onto trailers using a hydraulic elevator/lift.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
