As a Shipping Specialist, you will be integral in getting products to our customers on time. In conjunction with preparing shipping documents and scheduling outbound shipments for customers, you will compute freight costs and document inventory to guarantee every package reaches its destination.

The shift will be for: Second Shift (12:00 PM – 9:00 PM)

A successful candidate must be able to:

• Be responsible for creating shipping documents, scheduling trucks (LTL, FTL, and parcel packages), and confirming shipments through our logistics programs

• Assign order’s outbound shipment methods based on price, service, and timing

• Communicate daily with Manager on order status, shipping status, and any issues pending

• Compare identifying information such as weighs, counts, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, packing lists, or other records

• Work alongside a team to ensure that the company’s promise to our customers is always kept

• All other duties assigned.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Proven experience as a shipping specialist or in a similar role in logistics.

• Strong understanding of shipping processes, carrier management, and international trade.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Demonstrates sound decision-making.

• Superior organizational and documentation skills.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields

• UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping experience

Physical Requirements:

• This position may require the ability to perform tasks that involve sitting, standing, walking, lifting, computer work and other physical activities. Candidates should be able to meet these physical demands with or without reasonable accommodations.
